I'm Karl Kaljulaid.

I'm an independent web developer based in Estonia, working remotely with clients internationally. I built my first website at 13 and have spent the last 23 years learning how digital products work, how people use them, and how to make them easier to manage. How much does a custom website cost?

Every project is different and pricing depends entirely on scope, functionality and content. I provide a specific quote after understanding your needs. Timeline: depending on current workload, I can deliver most business websites in 1-2 weeks. More complex systems and applications take longer.

Do you use AI?

Yes, I use AI as a creative tool. I see AI the same way previous generations saw new technologies. The steam engine did not make horses useless overnight - it changed what was possible. The camera did not destroy painting - it opened the door to new forms of art. Every major technological shift creates fear first, but the people who learn to use new tools are the ones who shape the future.

Can I edit content myself after launch?

Yes. I build an admin panel or CMS that lets you edit text, images and other content yourself - without needing a developer. Exactly as this site's admin demo demonstrates.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes, I work with clients worldwide on a remote basis. I communicate in English and am accustomed to international projects and time zones. Most of my recent projects have been international.
